Dart Precision:
When shooting a dart to a target several factors are responsible
for the hit that deviates from center of target:
- un precise aiming with blowgun while shooting -> can be compensated
by exercising best practice.
- drop down of dart while the dart is flying it's way to the target
-> can be compensated by
exercising best practice.
- waggling of dart -> can not be compensated by exercising
and practicing.
Particular the waggling problem was considered and after many experiments
an improved cone design was found.
The improved cone has additional 10 fins at
the end. The best shape of the fins is just parallel.
The best gap between two fins is about 1-2 mm wide.
-
The best length of the fins is depending on the weight of the dart and
depending of it's mass dynamic properties.
